Registration and bib collection will be in the West Cafe in Worthing College, Hll Barn Lane, Worthing, BN14 9QF. Please note there is another Worthing College address in Bolsover Road. It is not that one. The college has parking and is adjacent to the recreation ground (2 minute walk) where the race will start.
The race start is at The Recreation ground, Hill Barn Lane, Worthing, West Sussex BN14 9QF. There is parking at the start and marshalls will indicate where you should leave your car. If you are taking the shuttle bus you may leave the car for the duration of the race.
The race finish is at Eastbourne Sports Park, Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne, BN21 2UF. The ground is behind Eastbourne District Hospital, but there is no access through the hospital itself. The Sports Park is adjacent to Sussex Downs Vocational Sixth Form College and Park College. It is clearly marked on Cross Levels Way.
Please do not under any circumstances park at the Track before heading to the start. The car park is not able to cope with the vehicles friends and family coming to see runners finish at the right time, on top of vehicles left by runners whose cars may be left there right through until the latter stages of the race.
The nearest rail station to the start is Worthing Station. Timetables can be checked at www.nationalrail.co.uk
Walking directions from the station: Turn right and go to the level crossing, turn right into South Farm Road, head north passing a small parade of shops, keep going. Worthing High School is on the left. Continue on past another parade of shops. Broadwater Cemetery is on the right. Keep going until reaching Broadwater Green. Head for the roundabout in the northern corner A24/A27. Cross to the far side which is Hillbarn Lane. The start is in the recreation ground up the lane and to the right.
The nearest rail station to the finish is Hampden Park. Timetables can be checked at www.nationalrail.co.uk
There are plenty of options for accomodation in both Worthing and Eastbourne. Locate your nearest options using the above postcodes and a google search.
There will be shuttles leaving at approximately 2000 and again at 2145 from the finish at Eastbourne Sports Club Athletics Track. The shuttle will make one stop only, back at Hillbarn Recreation Ground for runners to collect their vehicles. Competitors who wish to take the shuttle will need to select that option during the registration process. There is an additional charge of £20 for the shuttle. You can purchase a shuttle ticket during registration for the event, or by returning to update your registration at any time. The shuttle ticket is for either shuttle, it is simply first come first served when they arrive but there will be space for everyone no matter which time you choose to get on.
